Earlier this month, Manchester United took on Wolves at Molineux with darts reigning world champion Luke Littler in attendance.
It was the easiest away win Manchester United have had in a long time, thrashing Wolves 4-1, making good on the pre-match favourites tag against possibly the worst Premier League side in history.
It was a great night, and as always, United’s away support was top class and spurred the Red Devils to victory. And within the crowd was a familiar face, which caused some controversy.
Are you happy with Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe?
This was Luke Littler attending his first United away day, getting a memorable experience out of the game and a result that will have sent him home happy.
However, while he was well received in the ground, alongside the director of fan engagement, Rick McGagh. Now, after fan frustrations over this, United have responded.

Manchester United releases a statement regarding Luke Littler and away ticket allocation
This is the latest in a growing list of frustrations that fans have had over ticketing by Ineos.
In the latest United fan forum held earlier this month, the Littler situation was addressed by the club.
“The club noted the ongoing work around reviewing the sanctions process.
“The club also noted the social media conversation around attendance at the Wolves game and reiterated that no processes or rules were altered and the abuse of club staff was abhorrent and unacceptable.”
WHAT do you think about celebrities getting away tickets for Manchester United games?🤔
The club has made it clear that they haven’t broken any rules, and therefore it is difficult to lean any other way but in support of Ineos having a one-off massive United fan getting an away ticket.
There are certainly more pressing issues at the club.
Luke Littler is a big Manchester United fan
The fan frustrations are understandable, as getting away tickets is no easy feat even for fans who attend Old Trafford every week.
However, Littler is one of the few celebrities who is acceptable, given he is a huge supporter.
Littler has rubbed shoulders with Sir Alex Ferguson, and in addition, the 18-year-old sensation frequently has United players in his comments, such as Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire.
So, as a one-off, there are worse things the club has done ticketing-wise, and this really isn’t worth getting annoyed by.
