Another ‘Glazers Out’ protest is happening before the Manchester United vs Aston Villa fixture at Old Trafford. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

With the expected takeover at Manchester United taking longer than initially thought, a fan group, the 1958, have organised yet another protest in order to try and force the Glazer family out of the club.

This has become even more emphasised now as recent takeover bid news has surfaced stating that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has offered the Glazers an opportunity to remain at the club, in a minority shareholder role. Which is exactly what fans do not want.

Here is everything you need to know about the protest occurring today.

When is the protest taking place?

The protest is taking place on the 30th of April 2023, just before the home fixture against Aston Villa. The official start time is an 11 AM meet and a march towards Old Trafford from 11:45 AM.

Where is the protest taking place?

According to the 1958, the protest meeting point is the Nags Head/Abercromby, which is a pub in Urmston, Manchester.

From there, it is around an hour and 15-minute walk to Old Trafford – where they’ll be marching onwards to with flags, banners and chanting all with one clear message ‘a full sale wanted’.
