Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has struggled so far this season, now he’s been advised to seek new pastures.
Manchester United‘s inconsistent season was continued over the weekend, with Bournemouth piling the pressure onto Erik ten Hag.
In the poor season to date, one of the biggest casualties has been Marcus Rashford who has failed to impress throughout, sparking concern from many in the fanbase.
This resulted in him being dropped for the last two games in the Premier League. This saw him only leave the bench in the 79th minute against Bournemouth making little impact upon his arrival onto the field.
Rashford has been heavily criticised for his uninspiring performances and now Chris Sutton has suggested an exit could be the Englishman’s best option.

Mancester United warned as Chris Sutton advises Marcus Rashford exit
Speaking on Monday’s episode of the Mail Online podcast It’s All Kicking Off, former professional and pundit Chris Sutton explained that Rashford looks like he needs a fresh challenge.
“He looks tormented at this moment in time, I think for him and his career… I think at this moment in time he looks bored, he looks stale… I think that he’s a player that actually needs a move away from Old Trafford, I do and a fresh challenge.”
He then continued this sentiment but added that he doesn’t think the forward is working hard enough of late.
“I don’t think he’s working hard enough, but I do think he looks like a player who needs a fresh challenge.”
Manchester United need to be careful with this situation
The fact is Rashford looks like he doesn’t want to be there when he’s been on the pitch currently and Sutton isn’t the first to notice it, with Rio Ferdinand also critical of Rashford.
This will be a huge concern for those higher ups at United, given Rashford is the face of the club.
He is a player who has been so important and is held in such a high regard both for club and country inside and out of football.
So to think that Rashford could consider departing the club should be enough to scare United in to finding a solution to this problem, as he is so important.
