Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand immediately responded after he was asked who is the best Premier League player of all time.
Rio Ferdinand spent his entire senior playing career at club level in the Premier League and found incredible success under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
The TNT Sports pundit witnessed first-hand the brilliance of several Manchester United legends, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes.
Ferdinand also faced formidable opposition on the pitch in his legendary career, playing against the likes of Brazil legend Ronaldo and Arsenal icon Thierry Henry.
During his prolific spell at Old Trafford, Ferdinand lifted six Premier League titles, a Champions League and two League Cups under former United boss Ferguson.
The 45-year-old former United centre-back has since opened up about his glittering career after his retirement, including his relationship with Ferguson.

Ferdinand names Premier League GOAT
Speaking on his VIBE with FIVE show, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand dropped his two cents on the best Premier League player of all time.
When he was asked who was the best Premier League player ever, the former England and United defender immediately responded with Thierry Henry.
Henry had a remarkable impact at Arsenal during his legendary career and the Frenchman was a key player under iconic former Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The 46-year-old former Arsenal striker is widely hailed as one of the best Premier League players of all time alongside Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite snubbing Ronaldo in his immediate pick, Ferdinand argued his ex-United teammate has a strong case to be ahead of Henry as the Premier League GOAT.
“Do you know what? In the four of five years that Cristiano was here in the Premier League, there was two phases [of him]: there was two Cristiano Ronaldos,” he said on his YouTube channel.
“He came as the absolute entertainer and popcorn man where people were like, ‘Who is this kid, oh my,’ it doesn’t matter what team you supported [it] was like, ‘I have to see what Cristiano [has] done on Match of the Day this week’ – he was that guy because he was dropping people, laying people out, etc., skill-wise.”
Ferdinand on Ronaldo vs Henry
According to Ferdinand, Ronaldo’s first Ballon d’Or win at United could be enough to seal him the Premier League GOAT debate ahead of Henry.
However, one of the footballer-turned-pundit’s co-hosts argued that Henry was “robbed” of a Ballon d’Or win when he was at the Gunners.
Henry fell short of France Football’s sought-after award after Juventus legend Pavel Nedved lifted the Ballon d’Or prize ahead of the Frenchman in 2003.
Despite Henry missing out in what some believe to be a controversial Ballon d’Or snub, Ferdinand argued that Ronaldo still won the award in the Premier League.
“And then he [Ronaldo] turned into this absolute goal-getter, 40 goals or whatever a season, and by the way, which could be the nail for anybody else in the coffin here, he won the Ballon d’Or as well here,” he continued.
“Robbed or not robbed, the Ballon d’Or ended up [with] Cristiano and Manchester United.
“I think there’s arguments for both, I just think that Cristiano was crazy, I played with him, so I’m a little bit biased.
“But Thierry was on a mad one.”
