Manchester United fans have some good news over the international break, with players getting a little rest.
International breaks have not been kind to Manchester United in the past. Former players Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane both suffered injuries while playing for France.
The best thing for United is for players simply not to play at all. Which is why Monday night’s international matches went so well.

De Ligt, Zirkzee and Lindelof boosts
Netherlands took on Germany in their UEFA Nations League clash, and there was minimal involvement for Manchester United duo Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee.
De Ligt, a £38.5 million summer signing, did not play a single minute, with Virgil van Dijk and Stefan de Vrij selected.
In the last international break De Ligt was heavily criticised after a couple of mistakes and has subsequently lost his starting spot.
Joshua Zirkzee came on for the final 15 minutes and was unable to prevent his nation falling to a 1-0 defeat.
Victor Lindelof latest
Sweden did not select Victor Lindelof at all for their match with Estonia, with the Manchester United defender an unused substitute.
This was more good news for United, with three players getting an easy end to the second part of the international break.
Out of a possible 270 minutes combined, Lindelof, De Ligt and Zirkzee combined for just 15 minutes of action.
All three can focus on returning to Carrington, and next weekend’s match with Brentford.
