Manchester United fans were blown away after seeing a jaw-dropping image of what appears to be the third Red Devils shirt for the 2025-26 campaign at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils completed a post-season tour of Asia in late May, only days after the end of their woeful 2024-25 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford.

Manchester United limped to a 15th-place finish last season and the Red Devils suffered their worst standing in the table in the Premier League era.

Ruben Amorim faced an uphill task in seeing out the 2024-25 season at the Premier League club after Erik ten Hag was sacked as United manager in 2024.

The Red Devils will be without European football for next season after United’s disappointing run of form in the Premier League campaign last season.

Ruben Amorim’s men also missed out on Champions League football for the 2025-26 season after United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in Bilbao in May.

What does Man Utd’s 2025-26 third kit look like and what are Red Devils supporters saying about the shirt?

X account Kitkingdom on social media posted a photo of what is believed to be the third home shirt that Manchester United will wear under Ruben Amorim next season.

The third shirt is black in design and features yellow and blue stripes, showing shades of the United shirt from 1993 to 1995 under Sir Alex Ferguson.

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, were simply left in awe at the homage that the ‘leaked’ shirt paid to the design from the 1990s.

“Take away the stripes on the shoulders and that’s [a] 10/10 kit,” one Red Devils supporter said.

Another United fan wrote: “Oh my goodness.”

“Seen it, it’s so beautiful,” someone else commented.

While a fourth tweeted: “What a beaut[iful] Man United third kit. That collar is missing tho[ugh].”

And a fifth added: “It is so, so good. Clean AF.”

Somebody else suggested: “If it had a collar like the blue one last season, it would probably be one of United’s best-ever away kits.”

A seventh posted: “F—— hell! This is nuts I’m definitely getting this.”

Another simply tweeted: “This is cool AF [plus] imagine going away [to] big games and winning with this beautiful kit.”

What is next for Man Utd and Ruben Amorim ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign?

Some United players, such as Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, are away from Old Trafford and have been called up for international duty with their national teams.

Meanwhile, Amorim is busy preparing his overhaul of the United first-team squad and the Red Devils boss will welcome new signings to the Premier League club.

United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves, while Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo is tipped to make the move to Old Trafford in the summer window.

The Red Devils won’t return to action until July for the start of their pre-season campaign, with United facing rivals Leeds United at the Strawberry Arena.

The pre-season friendly between United and Leeds will be played in Sweden and the match is scheduled for 19th July, with kick-off planned for 2pm UK time.
