Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing as Kobbie Mainoo returned from injury in the UEFA Youth League.
Mainoo has been out of action since pre-season when he was forced off with an ankle injury in the early stages of the clash with Real Madrid.
The young lad was electric for Erik ten Hag‘s side before that and fans were gutted to see him forced out for so long, as there was a huge chance he could have been brought straight into the first-team frame.
His long-awaited return has got fans speaking again – and they’d be absolutely right.

Manchester United fans on Kobbie Mainoo’s return
After his return to action in Manchester United‘s 1-0 UEFA Youth League loss to Copenhagen – fans have all taken to social media to say the same thing about the 18-year-old.
“Almost impossible to get the ball off Kobbie Mainoo,” one writes.
“Can’t take the ball from this guy,” says a second.
“His ability to take the ball and bring it out of tough situations. He has the makings of a top, top midfielder,” a third jots down.
Another adds: “What I love about him the most is how he uses his strength.”
“Look at the way he uses his body. He should start against City,” another adds, probably a little ambitiously.
Mainoo certainly showed his physical attributes on his return. He was immense in ball retention – hardly giving the Danish side a sniff in his 45-minute cameo.
Mainoo shouldn’t be rushed
We have to remember this was a good 45 minutes in the tank for the returning star, but throwing him into the deep end for the first team will cause more harm than good.
This was against a load of young lads, potentially putting Mainoo in the frame in a game like Sunday could mean he suffers the same fate as Lisandro Martinez or Tyrell Malacia – another injury.
We simply have to learn from our mistakes.
