The Red Devils are preparing for their pre-season campaign in Europe and the United States, with Manchester United embarking on their tour this month.
The first wave of United players reported to Carrington on Monday for the first pre-season training session held under Ruben Amorim as Red Devils head coach.
United on Thursday saw the second phase of first-team players return to the Carrington training complex, with Red Devils star Casemiro among them.
Casemiro had been away from Old Trafford this summer after the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season and the two-match post-season tour of Asia.
The 33-year-old midfielder returned to the fold of the Brazil national team under former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti and had been representing his country.

Manchester United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, wasted no time reacting to Casemiro’s impressive physique in pre-season training.
The Red Devils’ official social media channels shared snaps from the first week of pre-season training at Carrington, including Casemiro looking trimmed down.
“I doubt Casemiro [has] been more fit in his career, he is serious about next season,” one X user wrote.
Someone else commented: “This is a man going for the league title!”
“Casemiro looks ready for next season,” another added.
A fourth United fan said: “Ready to prove everyone wrong.”
While a fifth suggested: “Man looks like he’s going to lift a trophy this season.”
Somebody else claimed: “Whatever you think of [Casemiro] – the fact that he’s still hungry for more and [comes] back looking like this for pre-season is incredible. Proper professional.”
And a seventh Red Devils supporter posted: “Casemiro looks even fitter than last season. Arguably the fittest he’s ever been. He looks ready!”
An eighth X user tweeted: “Casemiro really locked in this summer compared to last time. One more dance with you, Unc[le] Case [sic].”

Former Real Madrid star Casemiro is out of contract with United in 2026 and the Brazil international is tipped to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer next summer.

Casemiro has the 2026 World Cup to aim for with Brazil and the United star could feature at the tournament in North America after his return to the national side.
The United star has faced criticism over his form and lack of consistency since his debut season at Old Trafford under former United manager Erik ten Hag.
