Four of Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures in August and September have been given new dates ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Premier League fixture list for the upcoming campaign was announced on 19 June.
Manchester United are hoping to build on last season’s third-place finish, with Michael Carrick embarking on his first full season as head coach.
The Reds will be juggling fixtures between the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup in the coming months. At least now we know the exact dates for the first five games of the 2026/27 league campaign.

Dates confirmed for Man Utd’s first 5 Premier League fixtures
United fans have had to wait to find out the specific dates for the first five Premier League matches.
The dates have now been set in stone to suit the broadcasters, as confirmed by the official Manchester United website.
United will start the new campaign with a trip to Hull City, but the date and kick-off time for that remains the same – 12:30 BST on Saturday 22 August.
However, the next four fixtures have been moved.
All of the games against Ipswich Town, Everton, Man City and Fulham have been moved from Saturday to Sunday.
United’s first game at Old Trafford against Ipswich Town will be played on 30 August at 16:30 BST. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
A week later, Carrick and the team will travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The game kicks off at 14:00 BST live on Sky Sports.
United’s first game back in the Champions League takes place after that, before hosting Man City in the Premier League on 13 September. The derby has been arranged for 16:30 on Sky Sports, and it will be Enzo Maresca’s first Manchester derby as head coach.
Then, before the first international break, United travel to Fulham on 20 September, 16:30 BST.

- Saturday 22 August: Hull City (away, 12:30)
- Sunday 30 August: Ipswich Town (home, 16:30)
- Sunday 6 September: Everton (away, 14:00)
- Sunday 13 September: Man City (home, 16:30)
- Sunday 20 September: Fulham (away, 16:30)
Carrick will be demanding a strong start to the season from his players.

When will Man Utd find out their Champions League opponents?
United will find out their opponents for the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League on Thursday, August 27.
The draw will feature a total of 36 clubs, including 29 automatic qualifiers like United and the 7 winners from the final play-off rounds.
United’s first Champions League match will occur between September 8 and 10.
The Reds have not competed in Europe’s most prestigious since the 2023/24 season.
