Marcus Rashford is reported to be given a new bumper deal at Manchester United, with the forward set to earn a whopping £375,000 a week.
The Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year and the Players Player of the Year had his best season in red during the last campaign.
At times the England international was simply unstoppable. He scored 30 goals and grabbed 11 assists over the course of the 22/23 campaign, so it’s exciting to see what he conjures up next season.
Rashford is arguably United’s best player and their ‘star boy’, so it’s no surprise they’re desperate to keep him at the club.

Rashford’s reported new contract
According to a report by The Sun, the England international is set to pen a contract that will make him earn £375,000 a week, £19.5m a year and £97.5m in the next five years.
This would put him equal with United’s current highest earner, David De Gea, although this may not be the case for long with the Spanish shot-stopper linked with a decreased salary or actually a move away from Old Trafford.
If he does decide to stay and take the cut, the pair will effectively swap wages. Rashford will take De Gea’s current £375,000 a week, whereas De Gea will have a huge decline to £200,000 a week.
This will mean the club’s wage bill effectively doesn’t change and if the 32-year-old keeper does decide to leave, they’ll save even more money.
Rashford has worked hard and remained loyal to the club and after his fine performances last season, I don’t think many would complain if we saw the 25-year-old obtain this new wage.
