Manchester United winger Amad has congratulated Mason Greenwood on making his debut for Getafe.
The controversy surrounding Manchester United’s indecision over Mason Greenwood last month was one of the many factors which have added up to make this a chaotic start to the season on and off the pitch.
United eventually decided Greenwood would play his football away from the club, and sent him on loan to Spanish side Getafe.
While the chaos has continued at Old Trafford, Greenwood has made a very swift return to action.

Mason Greenwood debut
Mason Greenwood has not played any football since his arrest in January 2022. Charges were later dropped against him.
Today he made his debut for Spanish side Getafe as the La Liga side earned a hard fought 3-2 victory at home to Osasuna.
Greenwood, a surprise inclusion on the bench, came on in the 77th minute with the game poised at 2-2. Teammate Nemanja Maksimovic scored the winner in the 86th.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Manchester United loanee Greenwood had replaced Juanmi Latasa, who had started up front. There were 10 minutes added time, meaning he got longer on the pitch than he would have initially expected.
Greenwood, 21, made 12 touches at total, with one shot at goal which was blocked, and was fouled once. Crucially he won the corner which led to the winner.
Amad reacts
Mason Greenwood’s return to action was noted by Manchester United winger Amad, who played alongside him under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
Amad posted two heart emojis, showing his support for Greenwood, via Instagram stories.

Most United players have been cautious to distance themselves from Greenwood. That was a stance ignored by Amad, who is out of action with an injury, currently, and is several weeks away from a return.
