Manchester United target Alvaro Fernandez was in action for Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday afternoon.
Benfica came from behind late on to beat Monaco 3-2 in the Champions League and Alvaro Fernandez starred for the Portuguese side.

Man United interested in re-signing Alvaro Fernandez
When Fernandez was sold to Benfica, United included a buy-back clause in the agreement.
United could re-sign Fernandez for just £16.7m due to the clause, and Ruben Amorim is keen to sign Fernandez to strengthen his squad in 2025.
Amorim has asked United to sign a left-back after drawing to Ipswich Town in his first match as United head coach.
Fernandez would not dent United’s budget too much and he suits Amorim’s 3-4-3 system having starred in a wing-back role in Benfica.
