Sunday’s defeat to West Ham has refueled the sack rumours around Erik ten Hag.
If the win against Brentford last week relieved any pressure around the Dutchman, then the draw to Fenerbahce and the 2-1 defeat to West Ham have piled it right back on.
Manchester United have now only won one of their last eight games in all competitions under Erik ten Hag with the Red Devils now down in 14th in the Premier League table.

Ineos turned down two chances to sack Ten Hag, but patience is running thin among the fanbase and action will soon need to be taken if things don’t turn around quickly.
There were as many as 10 potential Ten Hag replacements at the start of the month, but Ineos are missing out on targets the longer they wait.
It was reported that United made contact with Xavi Hernandez last week, and the ex-Barcelona star’s previous comments about the club have resurfaced.

What Xavi said about Man United in 2011
United fans will have bad memories of Xavi dominating in midfield during the 2009 and 2011 Champions League finals, where the Red Devils were beaten by Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona.
However, there is also plenty of respect for the Silky Spaniard and his achievements, and that respect goes both ways.
As quoted by ESPN, Xavi opened up on nearly joining Manchester United as he called them his favourite club in England.
“There was a long time when I genuinely thought about accepting United’s offer. I needed a change of scenery and things were not going well for me at Barcelona,” Xavi said.
“I have always felt a real attachment to English football and Manchester United would be ‘my club’ there.”
They are not the only comments that have resurfaced as Xavi raved about one ‘dangerous’ United star during his time in Spain.
Man United fans send clear message about Xavi becoming manager
If Ten Hag is sacked in the coming weeks, it seems Xavi will be towards the front of the queue to replace him at Old Trafford.
But despite his affection for the club, United fans are still not sold on the idea of the 44-year-old taking charge.
Via X, formerly known as Twitter, United supporters reacted to hearing Xavi’s quotes and made it clear they are still not eager for him to replace Ten Hag.
One fan posted: “Handing United to Xavi after ETH will be the deadliest mistake United board can never do”.

A second said: “Ten Hag already beat this guy’s Barca team in Europa League. Next.” while a third added: “I really think Xavi would crumble managing in England”.
Another supporter said: “Why would we want him as manager though? Look at how much Barca instantly improved when Flick came in”
Finally, one supporter wrote: “I’m sorry but I highly doubt he’d do well here in the slightest. I get wanting Ten Hag out but at least do it for a top manager.”
