Luke Shaw is thankfully back to full fitness for Manchester United.
The English full-back has been a huge miss for Erik ten Hag‘s first-team squad this season. Shaw suffered a bad injury early on in the Premier League campaign – but is now thankfully back.
He’s straight back into the frame at Old Trafford. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet for Erik ten Hag, fully locking down that left-back slot.
The same can’t be said for a current Manchester United duo – who were both dropped for the Chelsea match.

Luke Shaw likes Tweet about Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both were left out by Ten Hag against Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Following the performance – many think they will struggle to get back in the starting XI.
Patrice Evra said the following on Amazon Prime after the match: “I think it will be tough for Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to come back into the starting eleven.”
This was quoted on X by centredevils, and remarkably – it was liked by the official account of Manchester United full-back, Luke Shaw. This was spotted by utdreport.

Luke Shaw responds
Shaw picked up on this very quickly and responded to the Manchester United fan account:
‘Come on don’t be silly, obviously not intentional’ with an emoji holding his face in disbelief.

The fan account has since deleted their post, evidently apologetic for trying to catch Shaw out.
This was a good move from Shaw. Amid a sea of malicious rumours that Manchester United’s dressing room lacks a sense of togetherness, these are exactly the posts we don’t want to see.
Shaw shunning any idea of low team morale fully backs the manager and suggests good team synergy at the club.
Rashford and Martial will have a tall order to get back to the XI following last night’s performance, but this is simply good healthy competition. Any other interpretation is wrong and is said to try and add fuel to the fire.
