Luke Shaw has reacted to Casemiro‘s performance against Chelsea after the Brazilian scored a last-gasp header to earn Manchester United a point.
The Red Devils looked to be heading for defeat at Stamford Bridge after Jorginho slotted home an 87th minute penalty after Stuart Attwell awarded the home side a spot-kick following Scott McTominay’s adjudged foul on Armando Broja.
But in the 94th minute, Shaw’s cross was met by a towering header from the Brazilian serial winner, which ensured Erik ten Hag’s side left west London with a share of the spoils.
Luke Shaw reacts to Casemiro’s performance against Chelsea
Making his fourth consecutive Premier League start, the former Real Madrid man produced yet another eye-catching display, and his influence and importance in Ten Hag’s team is evidently growing with every passing game.

With the twenty-time league champions needing a hero to extend our unbeaten run to six games since being taken apart at the Etihad Stadium at the start of the month, our number 18 came to the fore and delivered the goods.
It was the type of clutch moment that Casemiro’s former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has repeatedly delivered throughout his career.
But with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner dropped for the clash against Graham Potter’s side after refusing to come on in the 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur, and then leaving Old Trafford early, it was Casemiro who came to United’s rescue.
United’s number seven would have no doubt been impressed with the 30-year-old’s header and Ten Hag’s side remain unbeaten in the Premier League when the 65-time Brazil international starts.
Shaw, who registered his first assist of the season, was full of praise for the five-time Champions League winner and summed up Casemiro’s performance in one word with a comment on the Brazilian’s Instagram post.
United and England’s left-back simply commented: “Monster”.
With Manchester United set to face West Ham United at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday, Ten Hag may opt to rest the South American in Thursday’s Europa League clash against Sheriff Tiraspol.
