Lisandro Martinez may have already trained with Ajax for the final time. He was left out of today’s session ahead of his move to Manchester United, report De Telegraaf.
The Dutch newspaper report: “In anticipation of the transfer to Manchester United, Ajax does not want to take any risk.”
Ajax are set to receive a £46 million transfer fee after positive talks between the two clubs on Wednesday.
Fabrizio Romano stated the transfer is ‘imminent’ with Martinez ready to seal his move to Manchester United.

Martinez trained on his own in the gym, De Telegraaf report.
A further meeting is scheduled today to put the ‘final touches’ on the transfer, with an outline agreement in place between the two clubs.
Martinez’s desire to move to Manchester United and reunite with manager Erik ten Hag is has driven the transfer.
He has rebuffed interest from Arsenal, who had also pushed to sign the defender, but amid a lack of encouragement from the player, have not met Ajax’s asking price.
Martinez could be a crucial signing for United, a defender with different characteristics to the team’s current centre-backs, and is a player Erik ten Hag knows he can trust.
