‘The Butcher’ has been a revelation at the back since his arrival from Ajax in the summer. He’s formed a remarkable partnership with Raphael Varane and is one of the vital reasons that United find themselves so high up in the Premier League table this season.

Lisandro Martinez acrobatic block against Brentford
The Argentine was under major scrutiny in this tie following his last appearance against Brentford, where he was dominated by Ivan Toney at the Gtech Community Stadium, however, under the lights of Old Trafford – Martinez definitely came out on top.
The highlight of his night though has to be the dramatic acrobatic block made just inside his own box – which can be viewed below.
Fantastic athleticism from the 25-year-old, who has secured himself as a firm fan favourite for the Red Devils.
The love appears to be reciprocated by the man himself, always taking to social media after games to showcase his passion for the club.
A fantastic acquisition, and we can’t wait to see Lisandro at the heart of the defence for years to come.
