Manchester United are moving in the transfer market and perhaps nothing proves that more than gazumping Real Madrid for Leny Yoro.

The Frenchman’s transfer to United was confirmed recently and the fans have been relishing the reality of landing one of world football’s premier talents.

As usual with every signing, Yoro has been introduced to all things United. He has spoken of his admiration for the club, while Dan Ashworth has revealed the club’s intention behind chasing him relentlessly.

Now that he’s here, he’s been given a tour of the club and like many new signings, one thing caught his eye more than anything else.

Leny Yoro’s response to seeing Old Trafford

It is not for nothing that Old Trafford is called the “Theatre of Dreams”. The aura and history of the place are unmatched, despite being ignored by the Glazers for a long time.

For any new signing, steeping onto the Old Trafford pitch for the first time is a glorious experience, only topped by walking out of the tunnel on a matchday in front of a full house.

Yoro’s response to doing the former is something every United fan can relate to, as United posted the same on their social media.

The defender walked onto the pitch and when asked to describe his first impression of the ground, he simply said- “Incredible”, before adding “It’s crazy” once his initial adoration wore off.

Yoro’s message to United fans

The 18-year-old also took to Instagram via the club’s official handle, letting the fans how excited he is to be at the club.

Due to the circumstances surrounding his move, as he turned Real Madrid and other interested parties down to join United, he is already a fan favourite.

As United have spent a king’s ransom on him, it can also be assumed that he will slot straight into the first team.

The club is showing remarkable faith in his ability to effectively learn on the job, as they would be fully knowledgeable that as talented as he is, no player can be the finished product at just 18.

To do his growing in front of a raucous crowd and in a high-pressure situation is a sink-or-swim scenario, but one for which the club clearly deems him fit.
