Manchester United need help at centre-back, with just one first team star available in midweek against Burnley.
Casemiro needed to fill in and help Victor Lindelof out, with Harry Maguire ill, and Lisandro Martinez celebrating the World Cup trophy in Argentina.
Raphael Varane is also yet to return to Carrington after defeat in the World Cup final. A date has not been set for his comeback.
However, there is a positive sign, thanks to none other than Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe clue to Varane return
France star Kylian Mbappe has made his return to Paris Saint-Germain already.
The World Cup 2022 Golden Boot winner was pictured on PSG’s Instagram account making his return to the club training ground and working out in their facilities.
This comes just days after he netted a hat-trick in the World Cup final in Qatar, and bodes well for Varane’s potential return to Carrington.
It stands to reason that if Mbappe can make his return to PSG within days, then Varane’s comeback to Manchester should not be far behind.
There should be a sense of urgency with Varane too, considering Manchester United’s defensive situation.
The defender did check out of the World Cup final in extra-time, it’s unclear whether this was injury-related or simply illness or exhaustion.
But this is all the more reason to get him back to Carrington as soon as possible.
If United can get him back before Christmas, there is a chance he could make the squad for the Premier League game with Nottingham Forest on December 27.
