Kobbie Mainoo was in the starting line-up for England on Saturday during the quarter-final win over Switzerland and has now sent a message.
For England, Saturday night saw them reach a second consecutive European Championship semi-final and will take on the Netherlands on Wednesday.
In the game, Manchester United had two players in action with Kobbie Mainoo in the starting line-up and Luke Shaw making his Euro 2024 bow as he returned from injury.
Mainoo lasted until the 78th minute of the game before he was withdrawn after England went a goal behind. The 19-year-old impressed plenty of United fans with his performance and has now sent a message.

Kobbie Mainoo sends message after England win and his teammates respond
After the result which saw England progress on penalties, Mainoo took to Instagram with a message to fans.
He wrote: “Together and ready for what’s next. Onto the semis”.
Underneath Mainoo’s message, he received responses from some of his teammates both from club and country.
Jude Bellingham was one to comment, writing: “Young General” under the post which happens to be a fitting description of Mainoo considering he was a leader for England in that win.
Cole Palmer also entered the comments under Mainoo’s post as he wrote: “My brother!!” followed by a heart emoji and a saluting emoji.
Alejandro Garnacho posted a star emoji for Mainoo, perfectly describing what Mainoo is.
United Academy gem Sam Mather commented: “Too easy”, while Sonny Aljofree added a message directly to Mainoo saying: “Bring it home”.
Mainoo continues to look like the most experienced player on the pitch
For much of last season, Mainoo shone brighter than any of his senior teammates, despite him being just 18 and 19 years of age.
He looks like the most mature and experienced head on every pitch he plays on and for England, it’s no different.
Alongside the £105m Declan Rice, it is Mainoo who looks the older and more refined player which is a testament to Mainoo and also to Carrington.
Mainoo might’ve been good for United last season, but next season, alongside a new midfielder who takes the defensive burden, we could be in for a treat.
