Juan Mata responds to seeing David de Gea reunited with four Man Utd teammates

There has been a reunion amongst some Manchester United players today, which was shared with the world via social media.

David de Gea was brutally shunned out of the Manchester United side last summer. Erik ten Hag was certain in his ideologies that he needed a new keeper, despite the Spaniard being United’s longest-serving player.

The 32-year-old is now without a club, and it doesn’t look like he’s up to much at the moment either. He’ll always be welcome in Manchester, by fans and his teammates alike.

This is reflected beautifully in a post uploaded to Instagram today.

Juan Mata responds to seeing David de Gea reunited

Bruno Fernandes took to Instagram today to share a photo of himself, De Gea, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, and someone that many have forgotten was even at United – Tom Heaton.

The caption read, ‘Coffee (as an emoji) and friends it’s always a good choice.’

It is always quite heartwarming as a fan to see posts like this and to understand that, after all, they are just regular human beings.

Juan Mata responds

Ex-Red Devil Juan Mata, who would’ve definitely been out for a brew if he was in the country did the next best thing and left a comment to show his affection towards the group.

It read: ‘I only see good people in that table,” followed by a love heart emoji.

De Gea himself also responded with: ‘Brothers,’ again with a love heart.

It’s clear to see there’s no bad blood with his former teammates from De Gea and it’s also brilliant to see he’s still directly involved with players at the club.

De Gea will always be a club legend and should always be welcomed at Old Trafford, whether it’s at a game… or at a nearby coffee shop!
