Manchester United have now completed the signing of Bayern Munich duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Bayern Munich have just waved goodbye to two players they signed just two years ago.
As Manchester United well know, the trouble with constantly changing managers, is you end up with even more turnover of player personnel.
Over the last four years Bayern have from Hansi Flick to Julian Nagelsmann to Thomas Tuchel to Vincent Kompany.
And with Kompany embodying yet another fresh start, two key players have pushed for new starts of their own, with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui quitting to join Manchester United.

Joshua Zirkzee reunited
While Mazraoui and De Ligt arrived at Bayern in 2022, Joshua Zirkzee quit the German side in the same summer.
Zirkzee did not leave right away, with the forward departing on August 30, 2022. This meant he had a slight crossover with his new Manchester United teammates.
Following Manchester United confirming deals for De Ligt and Mazraoui, Zirkzee has reached out to welcome them to the club.
Zirkzee sent a simple message via his Instagam story feed, with a picture of them all together wearing a Bayern Munich shirt, along with the words: “Run it back”.

New look Manchester United
It would be ideal really if pre-season could start now, and give Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui time to settle in.
Zirkzee has been with the squad for a fortnight but missed the pre-season tour.
The fitness of all three will be assessed ahead of the Premier League opening fixture against Fulham.
The trio will have a big impact for United over the course of the season, although it could be a few weeks before they settle in and we see the best of them.
The trio should really help Erik ten Hag deliver his preferred style of play, with Mazraoui also being notable for being the first Ajax youngster Ten Hag handed a debut to.
