Jose Mourinho could solve Man Utd’s £350,000 per week problem

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has not featured for the club since his outburst on social media following the 3-1 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Englishman has struggled since his move to the club two years ago and seemed frustrated to not be included in the travelling squad for the game against Mikel Arteta’s side.

Since then Jadon Sancho has been exiled from the squad and has been forced to train away from the first team and it seems the winger has no future at Manchester United.

However, it has emerged that a European club would sign the winger ‘at all costs’ in what could be a welcomed boost for the 23-year-old.

Roma’s interest

According to Italian outlet Il Romanista, AS Roma are currently monitoring the situation and Jose Mourinho, former United boss, would do anything to sign the forward.

The report also states Sancho has asked for a move away from the club in January as it seems the relationship between the winger and Erik Ten Hag has seemingly been broken beyond repair.

The one thing that will seemingly stop the Italian side from signing Sancho will be the wages that the winger is currently on.

Spotrac claims that the winger earns £350,000 a week which would be an issue for the Italian side, if true.

Should Sancho leave

The English winger may well have burnt bridges with the United players and certainly the fanbase, so it seems a move away from the club is the most likely scenario.

The deadlock looks unlikely to be broken but you wonder, if Sancho apologised, would United reintegrate the forward into the team.

From Sancho’s point of view, he pushed for a move to Old Trafford for nearly two years so it seems unfortunate that the forward is seemingly not willing to apologise for his public rebuttal to Erik ten Hag.
