Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp only needed two words to summarise Marcus Rashford‘s current form for Manchester United.
United’s number ten maintained his red-hot form in front of goal by netting in yesterday’s 2-1 win against the Eagles at Old Trafford.
Following Bruno Fernandes’ early penalty, Rashford put Erik ten Hag’s side into a two-goal lead in the second half before Schlupp halved the deficit for Patrick Vieira’s Eagles against a ten-man United, following Casemiro’s red card.
But the twenty-time league champions held on to make it 13 consecutive wins at the Theatre of Dreams.
Jeffrey Schlupp issues two-word verdict on Marcus Rashford’s current form

Rashford’s clinical one-touch finish against Palace was his tenth Premier League goal of the season, and his 19th across all competitions.
The 51-time England international has been directly involved in 27 goals from 32 appearances for the Red Devils this season, as he has eight assists to his name.
Only Aleksandar Mitrovic (11), Ivan Toney (13), Harry Kane (16) and Erling Haaland have scored more Premier League goals this season than Manchester United’s Academy graduate.
Having mustered up just five goals for the entirety of last season, Rashford is three goals away from matching his best goalscoring campaign (22 goals in 2019-20).
After finishing off a wonderful sweeping team move, Rashford had scored just his second goal in 14 appearances against Palace.
But Schlupp, who won the 2015-16 Premier League title with Leicester City, was full of praise for Rashford and felt Palace deserved to be punished by giving the in-form Englishman the space to do what he’s doing better than anyone currently.
Speaking via Crystal Palace’s website following yesterday’s clash, Schlupp said: “[Conceding] the penalty is one thing, but the second goal – if you’re going to give anyone a chance in the box, you don’t want to give it to [Marcus] Rashford at the minute – he’s on fire.”
