Following Manchester United’s disappointing draw with Spurs last night, the two goal scorers have sent messages to the fans.

Jadon Sancho opened the scoring for United before Marcus Rashford added a second before half-time.

However the second half took a turn for the worse, as Spurs pulled two goals back to salvage a point.

Both stars will have been disappointed to witness such a shambolic second half display with Spurs completely dominating.

Following the result, both took to social media to send messages of positivity out to the fans.

Sancho posted on Instagram saying, “Disappointed not to come away with the win last night! Onto Sunday to make things right!”

Rashford also took to Instagram with a message echoing his teammates:

“We were disappointed to not come away with the victory! We have a lot of important games around the corner and need to keep the focus”.

It is clear these two Englishmen are keen to remain focussed, ahead of a difficult top 4 run-in.

Rashford and Sancho the key to United’s attack?

Sancho‘s been rightfully criticised recently following a string of sub-par performances.

However after confidently dispatching his penalty in last weekend’s shootout win over Brighton, he looks renewed with purpose.

Scoring a goal against Spurs in the manner he did, will be a huge boost once again for the £73m man.

Meanwhile, Rashford added his 29th goal of the season as he looks to add more onto his best ever season tally.

Both these attacking talents will be pivotal for United if they are to qualify for the Champions League and win the FA Cup.
