Jadon Sancho and Antony were absent from Manchester United’s latest training session ahead of tomorrow night’s crucial Europa League clash against Real Sociedad.
The forward duo were missing from this morning’s training session at Carrington which reporters were able to watch from a distance.
Sancho, who didn’t feature in Sunday’s 1-0 win against West Ham, did form part of the Monday’s group session, but Antony hasn’t yet returned to the group after Erik ten Hag confirmed the Brazilian had picked up a leg injury.
With the attacking pair seemingly doubtful for the Group E showdown in San Sebastian, in-form under-21s star Shola Shoretire formed part of the group.
However, there was good news on the injury front with Victor Lindelof returning to training having missed the win against the Hammers through illness.
Ten Hag will be delighted that United’s number two looks to have shrugged off his bout of illness in time to be available against the La Liga side.
With Sweden’s captain unavailable against David Moyes’ West Ham, the former Ajax manager had no centre-backs on the bench against the Irons.
FA Youth Cup winning centre-halve Tyler Fredricson formed part of Monday’s training group with United low on numbers due to Lindelof and Raphael Varane’s absences.

In order to top the group and qualify for the Europa League last-16, the Red Devils need to beat Sociedad by two or more goals.
If we fail to do so, Ten Hag’s men will have to face a third-place Champions League side in a two-legged play-off, which will be two additional games added to an already increasingly hectic calendar.
Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and Ajax are all set to drop into the Champions League with the three further teams set to be confirmed after tonight’s final group games.
