Manchester United don’t play until Monday night, but several young loanees have been in action representing the Red Devils on Saturday.
Among those to impress was Jacob Devaney, who started in midfield for St Mirren against Celtic.
Devaney has been excellent so far at St Mirren, with Manchester United thrilled by his progress in the Scottish Premiership.

Jacob Devaney shines for St Mirren against Celtic
Devaney started in midfield against title-chasing Celtic, and while his team were defeated 1-0, he had a performance to remember against Celtic at Celtic Park.
He played the entire game and was St Mirren’s best midfielder as he got 60 touches of the ball and completed 46 of his 49 passes, including one key pass.
Devaney also completed his only attempted dribble, carrying the ball a whopping 56m in the game, suggesting Celtic couldn’t stop him.
Defensively, Devaney also impressed as he won two of two tackles, five duels, and made six recoveries.

Ethan Ennis earns praise for his latest loan performance
Another top loan performer on Saturday was Ethan Ennis, with the winger continuing his solid season for Fleetwood Town.
Ennis got his sixth assist of the League Two season in this one as he played wing-back for Fleetwood, continuing to prove he should be in a higher league next season.
The official Fleetwood X account heaped praise on Ennis after this performance.

To which Fleetwood fans waxed lyrical over his impact and quality, while United fans commented that he needs more of a challenge.
