Former Manchester United duo Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay were involved in a feisty Serie A clash.
Just hours after Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leeds United in the Premier League, Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay resumed their pursuit of a league title in Italy.
Napoli won 2-0 against rivals Lazio in chaotic fashion, with three players sent off at the Stadio Olimpico.

Hojlund is expected to join Napoli permanently after his loan spell, with Antonio Conte delighted with his progress in Naples. As for McTominay, he has gone from strength to strength since leaving United in a £25 million deal.

Italian media praise Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay
McTominay played the full 90 minutes of Napoli’s victory, while Hojlund started and was only taken off with four minutes remaining.
Neither McTominay nor Hojlund were on the scoresheet for Napoli, but Italian media still had plenty of praise for their performances.
Corriere Della Sera gave Hojlund a 6.5 rating and wrote: “He’s always jostling with Gila and Romagnoli, but he always creates useful and necessary spaces.

McTominay was given an identical rating, with the description: “Substance, substance, and more substance. A steadfast pillar. As usual.”
Goal Italy gave Hojlund a 6/10 but wrote: “gives it his all but fails to make a mark”. Meanwhile, McTominay got a 6.5 rating and was praised for adding “quality and substance”.

Ever since his departure, McTominay continues to support United from afar having spent his childhood coming through the ranks at Carrington.
Ironically, McTominay would be perfect for Ruben Amorim and so it is hardly a surprise that reports have popped up linking the Scottish midfielder with a return to Old Trafford.
According to Caught Offside, United are interested in signing McTominay following his incredible growth in Italy.
They claim Napoli would only consider opening negotiations at around £60 million.
