Christian Eriksen has shared a mystery image of his injury on his Instagram story… and it looks like a painful one!
The Danish playmaker endured a good first season with the Red Devils. He started off phenomenally under Erik ten Hag, being arguably one of United’s most influential players in the first half of the season.
That was until January when Reading’s Andy Carroll produced a horror challenge on the 31-year-old which would rule him out for at least three months.
Thankfully, he made a full recovery and is back playing. However, an injury has emerged whilst on an international break, but not necessarily one that will hinder him from playing football.

Christian Eriksen took to Instagram stories to showcase his injury to the world.

Yikes, that looks like a nasty one. Nothing is known about how the injury occurred as of yet, so up to now this will remain a mystery injury for the Dane.
The picture is captioned with ‘Og alt er ok’ – followed by a muscle emoji. This roughly translates in English to, ‘And everything is okay,’ which everyone will be delighted to hear.
United fans will wish Eriksen a speedy recovery, but will also be thrilled that this injury is nothing that will have a direct effect on his playing ability.
Since his injury, he has looked a little off the pace – and another could very well impact his play even further.
Denmark takes on Northern Ireland this Friday and then travels to Slovenia just three days later as they look to top their table in the UEFA Euro Qualifiers.
Eriksen should still feature despite the gash. He’s one of Denmark’s star players. We wish him all the best!
