Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will reportedly include Raphael Varane in the starting lineup against Burnley at Turf Moor this weekend.
Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will take on Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Raphael Varane could start for Manchester United vs Burnley
The Daily Star has reported that Raphael Varane is now fit and is “expected” to start for the Red Devils against Burnley.
The report has added that Mason Mount could also be included in the United squad.

French defender Varane has been on the sidelines since suffering an injury against Nottingham Forest.
English midfielder Mason Mount, who joined from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, has been on the sidelines with a muscular injury.
Both the players are back in training now, and, according to The Daily Star, the £340,000-a-week (Spotrac) Varane could actually start this weekend.
Potential boost for Manchester United
In our view, Raphael Varane potentially starting for Manchester United against Burnley is a huge boost to the chances of Erik ten Hag’s side winning the Premier League game.
United have been defensively disappointing so far this season.
The Red Devils have conceded six goals in five Premier League games.
Ten Hag’s side also conceded four goals against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
Varane has not had the best of times at United so far.
The former Real Madrid star has had injury problems.
But, there is no doubt that Varane is a brilliant defender and is one of the first names on the United teamsheet when he is fit and available.
Lisandro Martinez will start against Burnley, and with Varane next to him at the heart of the United defence, Ten Hag will certainly feel better about his team’s chances of keeping a clean sheet.
Burnley have been dire this season, and United should feel confident of picking up all three points from the match at Turf Moor.
