Manchester United are chasing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund and have already won him over.

Denmark international ace Rasmus Hojlund has his eye on Manchester United. Fabrizio Romano claims the forward has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.

Hojlund’s heart is set on a move to Old Trafford, and it certainly helps that he is going to receive a boost in salary if he joins up.

While an incredible career opportunity awaits the Dane, a major wage increase further sweetens the deal.

Rasmus Hojlund salary increase

Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla reports that on a yearly basis, Rasmus Hojlund earns 600,000 Euros.

He claims, “He has a total deal with Manchester United for 7-8 times the amount.”

This is a low current wage of around £10,000 per week, which would increase to £70,000 or £80,000 per week.

Teamtalk previously reported Hojlund earned around £10,000 per week on his current deal.

The proposed increase at Manchester United is not unreasonable, where he would still be among the lowest earners. The 20-year-old would be challenged to perform and show he deserves to earn even more.

Ten Hag a fan

Pedulla adds manager Erik ten Hag is convinced by Hojlund and is a big fan, believing he would be perfect for his system.

Now it is just up to Manchester United to agree a few with Atalanta. That’s the hard part, but one which is do-able, providing the Italian side are not unreasonable.
