Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gave his first interview since departing Old Trafford nearly two years ago.

Two years since he was sacked by Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally spoken.

His silence since departing and the fact he hadn’t gotten a new managerial job left fans confused.

But he has now revealed all, discussing his time as a boss and what he wishes went differently along with his transfer dealings.

This included giving his verdict on one of his marquee signings who has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately.

Ole gives verdict on Jadon Sancho

Speaking with The Athletic in an exclusive interview the Norwegian boss discussed the signing of Jadon Sancho.

He explained that Sancho hasn’t shown his best form as of yet, but he faces one issue in his progress.

“We haven’t seen the best of him. I hope we do, but he prefers to play left wing… where Marcus plays.”

The issue of competition for Sancho has only worsened too, with Alejandro Garnacho now firmly ahead of him in selection, even before the public outburst.

Can Sancho ever reach his level?

With the current situation for Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford being that he is excluded from first-team action, the future looks bleak.

With wingers beginning to be linked to the club and Garnacho established as a first teamer, it looks more and more likely that a January exit awaits Sancho.

It is a real shame though, given the potential and ability which he has shown at times in his United career.

We do wish he and Erik ten Hag could see past their differences and come together for one final chance.
