How to say Rasmus Hojlund

A video has circulated on social media which seems to suggest how the Dane wants his name pronounced.

Clearly from this clip the pronunciation can be heard as he tells fans.

The Rasmus part is quite simple and is pronounced as ‘Rasmus’ but the Hojlund part is more complicated.

‘Hoi-luund’ is how the Danish forward wants his name to be pronounced going forward with the ending requiring a deep ‘und’ sound.

However if you still struggle it may be easier to revert to calling him Rasmus.
