Marcus Rashford started on Wednesday night for England against DR Congo in the World Cup round of 32.
It was a disastrous start for England, going 1-0 down to DR Congo very early, which made a tough task seem even more difficult.
England were terrible in the first half, Marcus Rashford included.
Rashford left the pitch with England trailing, only for the team to equalise and then find a winner in his absence, with Harry Kane scoring twice.

Marcus Rashford hooked for England after poor performance
It ended up being a good night for England and a huge win, but Rashford played no part.
Replaced by Anthony Gordon in the 60th minute, Rashford was deservedly taken off, and in the 75th minute, his replacement stepped up with two assists for Kane’s first and second goals.
Rashford completed all his passes and won four duels, but he did very little to cause Congo any real problems.
Despite this, he should have actually scored as he saw a shot blocked on the line in the first-half as he came agonisingly close.
Rashford is far from covering himself in glory here, and it wouldn’t be a shock if Tuchel reverted to starting Gordon against Mexico this weekend.
Is this a little harsh on Marcus Rashford? Do you feel the same way?
Kobbie Mainoo snubbed again by Thomas Tuchel
England were lucky to beat Congo, to put it kindly.
A really poor performance saw every player struggling until the final period of the game, with the midfield no exception.
Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson were both off it for large periods, and yet Kobbie Mainoo inconceivably wasn’t given a chance to come on and change the game.
England were playing hot potato with the ball in midfield, and Mainoo could have calmed this down and helped the team control the game a bit more.
Thomas Tuchel got away with one here, but eventually his reluctance to use Mainoo and his qualities will prove costly.
