The final international break of the season is coming to a close and Tuesday saw several Manchester United youngsters in youth action for their nation.

Largely, it has been a strong period for the Manchester United players representing their nations, and this includes at youth level.

The highlight was Ayden Heaven scoring for England’s under-20 side in a blockbuster 3-3 draw.

Now, Tuesday saw a host of talents playing for their nations. Here is how they fared.

Godwill Kukonki gets clean sheet for England

Godwill Kukonki was back in action for England’s under-18 side on Tuesday, and his defensive quality was key in beating Croatia 2-0.

This follows Kukonki starring for England in a 4-1 win over Bulgaria last week.

Now, Kukonki was key in keeping a clean sheet as England secured their place in the second round of qualifying for the 2027 under-19 European Championships.

Kukonki started as a centre-back again, continuing to grow in this position.

Tyler Fletcher off the bench in defeat vs Portugal

Tyler Fletcher started on the bench for Scotland’s under-21 side and by the time he came on, they were 2-0 down.

Fletcher gave Scotland a better showing in midfield, but ultimately, Portugal walked away 3-0 winners as they all but guaranteed their place in the Euros.

Gabriele Biancheri’s Wales thrashed by Denmark

After Gabriele Biancheri’s encouraging Wales performance against Belarus, Denmark was ultimately a step too far.

Wales were well beaten by the Danes, 4-0 to all but end the Welsh hopes of qualifying for the Euros in 2027.

Now, Biancheri returns to Rotherham action hoping to finish the season better than it’s been going on loan.

Jack Moorhouse benched and Jacob Devaney absent for Ireland

For Ireland U21 it was a better night, claiming a narrow 1-0 win over Kazakhstan but it came with neither Jack Moorhouse or Jacob Devaney in the starting line-up.

Moorhouse came off the bench to contribute well defensively, while Devaney wasn’t even on the bench which we hope isn’t related to an injury.

Neither had the impact they will have wanted, and Ireland will now need to win the next three to qualify for the Euros.

JJ Gabriel snubbed on England U17 bench

One of the more shocking outcomes of this international break was that JJ Gabriel didn’t play for England against Estonia.

Gabriel played well against Faroe Islands, but then England were well beaten by Israel and now the 15-year-old has been left on the bench in a 2-0 win against Estonia.

Disappointing for the wonderkid, but he will now have full focus on securing as many trophies as possible to conclude this season with United.
