There is exciting news from Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag at his press conference.

Quoted via The Independent, new signing Rasmus Hojlund has trained successfully this week and is in line to feature against Arsenal.

Erik ten Hag said of the new signing: “I think he is ready to start.”

Hojlund has not yet played a minute since his £64 million transfer from Atalanta, due to injury.

Sergio Reguilon has trained already

It is transfer deadline day and Manchester United are active, and have two new players in the squad ready to face Arsenal.

One of these is left-back Sergio Reguilon, whose transfer has not yet been officially confirmed.

Well, Erik ten Hag has now confirmed the move.

He explained: “He is here, yes. He is very experienced player, he has played for big clubs and played a lot of games in La Liga and the Premier League so has a very good background. So he can play very intense football so we are happy.”

Bayindir also in squad

Another is goalkeeper Altay Bayindir. He will also be in the squad to face the Gunners, Ten Hag confirmed.

“He will be in the squad as well so happy with the keeper group, we covered every position so I think we have a very good keeper group with the signing of Altay.”

Amrabat progressing

United are also pushing to sign Sofyan Amrabat. Fabrizio Romano reports talks are progressing and an agreement is now in place.
