Manchester United have a steady stream of promising youngsters making the way through and the future of another looks secure.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has shown great support for the club’s academy players, at least the ones he considers to be elite talents.
Another one is being lined up, with young whizkid Ethan Williams training with the first team in recent weeks.
United have moved to lock down Williams’ contract, with the talented young forward agreeing to sign a new deal.

Ethan Williams agrees to sign new deal
Ethan Williams has had a very promising season for Manchester United’s academy teams this season, continuing to set personal bests.
Williams, 18, has featured for both the under-18s and under-21s this season and has been deadly in the final third.
In all competitions he has 20 goal contributions, made up of 12 goals and eight assists.
According to The Mail, Ethan Williams has signed a ‘pre-pro contract’, ahead of his professional deal starting at the beginning of next season.
This will secure Williams’ immediate future. It will be up to him to continue to progress at United and secure an even better deal with improved terms.
Ethan Williams is one to watch
The report claims Ethan Williams is ‘highly thought of’ among the Manchester United coaching staff, as you would hope, for a player who has been prolific in front of goal.
Williams was one of our young players to watch for 2024 and he has been a part of the under-18s team which are unbeaten in the league this season.
While an opportunity may not be this season, it would be no surprise to see him fast-tracked into Erik ten Hag’s plans to follow Omari Forson.
