Michael Carrick has now shared a powerful assessment of Senne Lammens’ stunning performance against Everton in Manchester United’s 1-0 Premier League win on Monday.
Senne Lammens continued his role as Manchester United No 1 in Michael Carrick’s latest Premier League outing and impressed overall across the full 90 minutes.
What is your message to Michael Carrick after the win vs Everton?
The 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper notched up his fifth clean sheet in 21 Premier League matches since his deadline-day move to Old Trafford last September.
Lammens was in his element during the Premier League visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium and ensured Man Utd did not fall behind to Everton on the night.

Michael Carrick’s immediate verdict on Senne Lammens’ Premier League performance for Man Utd against Everton
Michael Carrick was not alone with his praise for the Red Devils’ No 1, as Manchester United fans also singled out Senne Lammens for his important display.
Lammens has added stability to the United backline since he succeeded Andre Onana, who is on loan at Trabzonspor, between the sticks in the 2025-26 season.
Do you agree with Edwin van der Sar over his Lammens praise?
He was excellent against Everton, but is he the long-term goalkeeper for United?
Speaking after Man Utd’s 1-0 win over Everton, Carrick insisted that he never saw Lammens become “flustered” during his important performance on Monday evening.
“He made a couple [of] really good saves, he looked calm and composed in a tough environment,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“A lot of corners coming in under his crossbar, didn’t get flustered, took some good chances and clean hands. He was immense for us tonight.”
Benjamin Sesko might have stolen the spotlight, but Senne Lammens was one of Man Utd’s strongest players vs Everton
United sealed all three points against Everton after in-form Red Devils forward Benjamin Sesko climbed off the bench and scored the winner in the second half.
Carrick turned to his bench early in the second half and Benjamin Sesko was brought on in place of Amad Diallo amid a frustrating opening 60 minutes for Man Utd.
Sesko will earn rightful praise for his major impact against Everton, but it does not take away from what the likes of United star Lammens did on the night as well.
Lammens was one of the standouts for United legend Carrick at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with other players like Harry Maguire equally impressing on Monday.
