Harry Maguire could play again for Manchester United this season, says interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
Rangnick told the club website that centre-back Maguire is set to test his injured knee in training later this week.
He explained: “Harry Maguire might be available again. We have to wait and see if he can train.”
The Mail had reported Maguire was set to miss the rest of the season as he battled a niggling knee injury.

Maguire could play again
Maguire watched United’s win over Brentford at Old Trafford from the stands, although made it onto the pitch for the ‘lap of honour’ after the final whistle.
He was on the bench for United’s defeat to Arsenal, before missing the games against Chelsea and Brentford, with those absences attributed to injury.
Maguire will test his fitness potentially as soon as today, and could travel with the group for Saturday’s away fixture against Brighton.
After that, United have one other away game on the final day of the season at Crystal Palace.
Even if fit, Maguire will probably only be on the bench against Brighton, after Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane kept a rare clean sheet last night. It is just the seventh the Red Devils have kept in the Premier League this season.
Maguire has had a troubled season for form, where he has struggled under the weight of the captaincy, and his £80 million transfer fee has loomed large.
