Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is the man of the moment after making his first team breakthrough.
Hannibal Mejbri made his Manchester United debut at the end of the 2020/21 season away at Wolves under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He then made a couple of further brief substitute appearances under Ralf Rangnick in 2022.
But it is only this month under Erik ten Hag in September 2023 that he has really made his first team breakthrough.
It began with a long-range goal against Brighton a week ago, before he made his first Manchester United start against Burnley on Saturday night, and played his part in a 1-0 win.

Hannibal Mejbri played all 90 minutes in Manchester United’s win. He was an integral part of the team’s 1-0 victory, as part of a midfield which helped grind out a result.
Hannibal embraced the step up to the first team. Under-21 football has nothing to offer him at this stage of his development, he needs to play in front of crowds and is more than capable of contributing at a first team level.
24 hours after the win at Turf Moor, Hannibal sent a message to supporters via Instagram.
He wrote: “The team, the squad, the staff and the fans all fighting together for the three points 🤍.”
He received praise from academy teammates Dan Gore and Sam Murray, as well as former colleagues Marc Jurado and Aliou Traore.

Hannibal scored a 7.2/10 rating for his performance via FotMob, with his passing accuracy noteworthy.
He completed 22 of 24 passes attempted, while not a high volume, he was effective with possession, creating two goalscoring chances.
Hannibal won two tackles, made one block, won four duels, and recovered possession seven times. It was an industrious performance from the 20-year-old, who gave the team a freshness which was needed.
