One of the standout players in the last few games has to be Hannibal Mejbri. But there’s always room for improvement.
The 20-year-old has seriously impressed since he made his first cameo against Brighton – where he scored the only Manchester United goal of the game.
But his finest hour came in the most recent fixture against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup. The whizkid ran more in one game than any Red Devils player has since 2019 – which is absolutely incredible.
However, despite his fabulous form, there is still a side of his game he needs to watch.

Pundits agree on Hannibal area of improvement
Speaking on The Talk of the Devils most recent podcast, Laurie Whitwell, Andy Mitten and Carl Anka all sat down to discuss who should potentially be featuring in United’s weekend fixture against Crystal Palace.
They all agreed that he deserves another start, especially over the other potential option which could be Scott McTominay. However, it was Carl Anka who first admitted there is one side of the Tunisian’s game that must change.
“He does need to watch for those yellow cards. I said it earlier, but he does,” Anka stated.
Not long later, Mitten chimed in and agreed with this statement.
“I think Carl’s right about the yellow cards, I know he got a late one against Brighton but Palace was in the 29th, 30th minute and he made some tackles not long after that you thought, you’re riding your luck there.
“If you get sent off and you’re down to ten, you’re really costing your team there. So he’s got to improve on that.”
They’re right
In all honesty, they’re right. One of the worst things for Hannibal right now would be a red card, which could completely scupper his confidence, especially if it was a straight red which caused a three game ban.
The young lad is in fine form, but things can change in an instant in football – particularly in a moment of madness.
We want Hannibal to stay level-headed, both in the sense of his sudden rise to the first team… and also when he’s on the pitch.
