Pundit Gary Neville has given a non-committal response when asked about Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Erik ten Hag was backed with his own goalkeeper after the decision to release David De Gea over the summer.
United splashed the cash on Andre Onana, striking a deal worth up to £47.2million to sign the Inter Milan stopper.
Ten Hag worked with Onana at Ajax and the pair have reunited at Old Trafford – but the results so far have been mixed.
Gary Neville shares Andre Onana verdict
Onana was hailed as a goalkeeper who would play out from the back much better than De Gea ever could.
However, the Cameroonian has committed a few too many sloppy errors with his goalkeeping and even put United in trouble against Galatasaray with his passing.
It’s fair to say that Onana hasn’t quite impressed as much as many expected when he arrived over the summer.
Onana did have a big moment on Tuesday night, pulling off a dramatic injury-time penalty save to help United beat FC Copenhagen 1-0.
Gary Neville has now been asked for his view on Onana – and it seems that the former United right back just isn’t convinced yet.
Neville took part in a Q&A on social media this morning and was asked what he thinks about Onana.
Neville responded fairly bluntly, posting a shrugging emoji alongside the words ‘for now’.
The Sky Sports pundit isn’t writing Onana off but is looking to see more from him in a United shirt moving forward.

My view: Onana deserves time to shine for United
Yes, this hasn’t been the ideal start for Onana and more was expected for the money being paid.
Onana is still settling into English football and having a constantly changing back four in front of him is far from ideal.
United haven’t had a settled back four all season amid injury woes and that can’t be easy for a new goalkeeper.
Onana has proven his quality before; he was superb on Inter Milan’s run to the Champions League final last season.
That player will come out soon enough and, hopefully, Tuesday’s penalty save will be the catalyst.
