Gary Neville raved about Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho following the Red Devils’ 2-1 win against Fulham yesterday.
The 18-year-old Argentinian wonderkid came off the bench to score a 93rd-minute winner at Craven Cottage.
It was Garnacho’s first goal in the Premier League and United’s number 49 became the youngest player to score a 90th-minute winner in the Premier League since Federico Macheda against Aston Villa, also for the Reds, in April 2009 (17y 226d), according to Opta.
With Jadon Sancho and Antony unavailable in recent weeks, the former Atletico Madrid youngster has certainly seized his opportunity to impress when called upon.
The South American superstar has two goals and two assists from his last four games and he’s rapidly becoming a vital part of Erik ten Hag’s United side.

Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast following United’s dramatic win in west London, the former Reds right-back was full of praise for the match-winning Argentine.
Neville said: “We’ve seen an incredible introduction; we’ve seen a star moment. He played well when he came on Garnacho and brought some purpose down United’s left-hand side particularly with Shaw.
“But it was a special moment for him. The acceleration, the composure, to do it at speed and at so young – the finish, it is incredible.
“The best players they’re able to do everything at full speed with composure and that’s what we’ve just seen from a very young player.
“To be a forward player for Manchester United who is young, you need arrogance, confidence and belief like you wouldn’t believe.
“If he’s got that great, but it needs to be contained.”
Having not been named in Argentina’s World Cup squad, Garnacho will reap the benefits of working closely with Ten Hag during the winter break before the domestic season resumes next month.
