Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville couldn’t resist taking another jibe towards Cristiano Ronaldo moments before the first part of the 37-year-old’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan aired.
While plenty of footage had already come out in the open following the five-time Ballon d’Or’s damming interview with Morgan, the first full part of the interview was released last night.
Last night’s part touched upon how Ronaldo made it clear that Neville and Wayne Rooney were not his friends due to them calling out his behaviour in public unlike fellow United legends Rio Ferdinand and Roy Keane.
Ralf Rangnick also got a pasting in the first of the two-part interview while Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro were the only current Manchester United players to receive any praise from United’s wantaway number seven.
Gary Neville couldn’t resist taking another jibe towards Cristiano Ronaldo

Neville has always previously sung Ronaldo’s praises and labelled the former Juventus striker as one of the game’s all-time greats, and he often put Portugal’s captain ahead of his great rival Lionel Messi in the greatest of all time debate.
But following Ronaldo’s decision not to come on against Tottenham Hotspur and leave Old Trafford while his teammates were beating Antonio Conte’s Spurs side, Neville’s defence and stance on his former teammate has completely changed.
The Sky Sports pundit, who has been accused by Ronaldo of using his name for fame, has recently stressed that Ronaldo and Manchester United need to cut ties for the good of one and other.
Ahead of the first part of Ronaldo’s interview being aired, Neville took to Twitter to post a cheeky dig towards Ronaldo while attempting to steer viewers elsewhere.
Neville’s Salford ended up losing the home FA Cup tie 3-0, and were eliminated.
The second part of Ronaldo’s interview is set to air tonight where he claims Manchester United have “betrayed” him and he also reveals that he has no respect for Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.
