Gary Neville has had his say on just how much Aaron Wan-Bissaka has improved at Manchester United following the 2-0 win against Everton.

Wan-Bissaka has had a resurgence since Erik ten Hag was appointed first-team coach. The former Crystal Palace man fell really out of favour in the side and was turned on by many fans – but has really found his form under the Dutchman’s reign.

He’s now preferred to Diogo Dalot in the right-back role and showed once again why this is the case in the win on Saturday.

Former right-back and Manchester United legend Gary Neville had his say on how he believes the 25-year-old has improved in the past few months.

Gary Neville on Wan-Bissaka improvement

Neville took to Twitter to showcase some of his thoughts on the game, and Wan-Bissaka was heavily involved.

He initially spoke about Jadon Sancho’s fantastic ability to thread passes through in tight areas, which sparked a reply from a fan who noticed Wan-Bissaka’s improvement going forward, to which Neville replied:

“Agreed. He’s a lot tidier on the ball.”

High praise from arguably the greatest ever right back to grace the Old Trafford turf.

It is undisputed that Wan-Bissaka has improved this season. The full-back has shown fantastic professionalism to manoeuvre his way back into the side and has really cemented the spot as his own.

His attacking capabilities were always scrutinised during his tenure at the club, but these steady signs of improvement have really established a lot of faith from the fans, and more importantly the manager.

It’s great to see considering the money that was spent. We think he’ll go from strength to strength from here on in.
