Dylan Levitt will be joining up with the Wales national side full of confidence after scoring a screamer against St Mirren yesterday.
The 21-year-old had missed Dundee United’s last two Scottish Premiership games but returned in last weekend’s Scottish Cup defeat against Celtic.
With the Tangerines trailing 1-0 at The SMISA Stadium, the Manchester United loanee produced an inspired moment of brilliance to bring his side level in the 57th-minute.

After the ball inadvertently fell perfectly into Levitt’s path, the young midfielder unleashed a vicious right-footed dipping effort from 25-yards which found the back of the net via the post.
Tam Courts’ side went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a 96th-minute winner from Marc McNulty.
The win moved Dundee United up to fourth in the Scottish Premiership table and after the game both Levitt and Courts gave their reactions to the three points and the Welshman’s goal.
Speaking via BBC Sport Scotland, Levitt said: “Amazing feeling. We needed the three points and finally one hit the [back of the] net.
“It was one of those where you get a bit of space and you know as soon as you hit it – it’s going in. When it hit the post there was a half a second where I thought it might roll across the line, but it hit the back of the net.”
Courts was full of praise for the ten-time Wales international and he believes Levitt is going to get further chances to impress in the national side.

Courts said: “In terms of technical quality, I think Dylan can play at a top, top level and I think in terms of what’s happening with the Wales squad just now – evolving towards more younger players – I think he’s going to get an increased opportunity at that level.
“But in terms of Scottish Premiership level – Dylan’s had a wonderful season – he’s actually learnt a lot and is still learning a lot, but I don’t think he’s perfect by any stretch of imagination.
“But at this stage of the season actually having game defining performances, match winning performances it’ great to see at such a tender age he’s producing those.”
The Manchester United academy graduate finished the game with 53 touches and created two chances (WhoScored).
He now has three goals and one assist to his name this season for the Tannadice side from 22 matches (Transfermarkt).
Dylan Levitt will be hoping his eye-catching performances results in him featuring in Wales’ World Cup qualifying play-off semi-final against Austria on Thursday night.
