Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to return to Manchester United in January as Crystal Palace restructure their squad.
Fosu-Mensah signed on loan for the Selhurst Park outfit and impressed in his early appearances but new manager Roy Hodgson’s transfer plans for the January transfer window include signing Danny Ings on loan and in order to do so he needs to terminate one of the club’s current loan signings.
According to the Guardian, Fosu-Mensah is seen as the most dispensable of those as Hodgson feels Palace are well stocked defensively.
A return to Old Trafford for the Dutch utility man would be much welcomed by supporters at United who believe he should be in contention for at least a squad rotation place in Jose Mourinho’s plans.
