Fred has had a fantastic time away from Manchester United.
Manchester United parted ways with the Brazilian for just £12.9m this summer, with Fenerbache being the one to bite the bullet on the 30-year-old.
The midfielder is now a vital part of the Turkish side’s setup. A setup that has generated a lot of early wins.
The Super Lig side hadn’t lost all season, winning a whopping 20 games on the bounce – that was until Fred got injured.

Fred now injured for Fenerbache
On Sunday the 29th of October, nine minutes into the game against Pendikspor, Fred was forced to leave the field of play due to injury.
Fenerbache released a statement that said a 2nd-degree tear was detected in the groin area for Fred.
It was also stated that Fred’s injury will not last long and he will return to the field within 2 weeks.
However, this meant he missed his first game this season, which actually resulted in Fenerbache’s first loss of the campaign.
His absence resulted in their first loss this season
On Saturday the 4th of November, Fenerbache took on Trabzonspor in a Super Lig clash.
It appears Fred was massively missed – with the game ending 3-2 to the away side.
It could have been much worse, without the Brazilian’s presence in midfield, Trabbzonspor actually went 3-0 up.
Two second-half goals from Dusan Tadic weren’t enough to rescue anything, thus eliminating the prospect of an unbeaten, flawless season for the Turkish giants.
Fred had featured in the last 10 games straight for Fenerbache. He was definitely a big loss for them as they suffered defeat for the first time in the 2023/24 campaign.
