Manchester United have struggled for goals a little this season but are beginning to score more.
There was a period late last year where it seemed like it needed a miracle for Manchester United to score a goal. The defeat away at West Ham was one of those games.
Manchester United have made some steps forward since, with the last two games providing some evidence.
United have scored seven times in the last two Premier League games, and if you want to throw in the win over Newport in the FA Cup, there have been 11 goals in the last three games.

Manchester United players racking up goals
Manchester United have five players who are currently on course to score into double figures for the season.
Rasmus Hojlund: He is already there. Rasmus Hojlund struck his 10th goal of the season in Manchester United’s win over West Ham. Five came in the Champions League, one in the FA Cup, and now four in his last four Premier League games.
Alejandro Garnacho: This was a big step forward. Alejandro Garnacho has now scored seven goals this season. He will certainly make it 10.
Scott McTominay: Midfield star Scott McTominay is not a regular starter right now but he is a useful player. He has seven goals so far, equalling his best ever campaign. There is plenty of time to score another three.
Bruno Fernandes: Manchester United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes is already on seven goals too. He will get to double figures, and being on penalty duties will help.
Marcus Rashford: It has been a disappointing season so far for Marcus Rashford, who struck 30 goals last season. So far he has only five goals. We know, Rashford is capable, and we would back him to net another five before the season ends.
There are another 15 Premier League games left this season, plus FA Cup fixtures. Getting five players into double figures would be a big achievement for Erik ten Hag.
Last season only two managed it
To put this into context, only two Manchester United players managed goals in double figures in the 2022/23 season, despite the team’s run to two cup finals and the Europa League last eight.
These were Marcus Rashford (30) and Bruno Fernandes (14). Top individual performances are great, but it’s also fantastic to see the goals spread around the team.
