Manchester United have had some seriously talented wingers over the years.
The likes of Ryan Giggs, Andrei Kanchelskis, George Best and many more legends come to mind when thinking of dazzling stars out wide. Any manager would be lucky to have them in their squad.
But there’s one player who stands a cut above the rest – and that has to be Portuguese footballing icon, Cristiano Ronaldo.
He has to be arguably one of the best wide players the Premier League has ever seen, with a current star also believing so.

Dejan Kulusevski on Cristiano Ronaldo
Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski told TNT Sports about his top five wingers of all time in the Premier League.
Approaching the number two slot, the Swedish winger picked out his former Juventus teammate as number two in his rankings.
“He’s a great friend and a fantastic football player. He’s one of the greatest players of all time. I have huge respect for him,” Kulusevski said about Ronaldo.
The pair know each other from Ronaldo’s time in Italy, where he featured 134 times, scoring a whopping 101 goals – albeit in a different position in the Serie A.
But Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t first…
Despite their friendship, he just couldn’t bring himself to put him in the top spot. It was former Chelsea man Eden Hazard who took that spot.
“I have to say, Eden Hazard. He was my favourite player growing up and he made me happy,” Kulusevski said.
“He made everybody happy when they watched him play because it was just joy, just freedom, it was just like a child playing football. Dribbling, scoring, assisting, having fun and that’s what football is about.
“Of course, I watched him a lot so some movements, some turns with the ball, I try to copy him as much as I can even though I’m much taller which makes it a little bit more difficult, but some movements I take from him.”
A tough call – but we’d know who our top spot would be.
